Stanford University

Dick Gould is the greatest college tennis coach in history. As the winner of 17 national championships at Stanford, his players include Roscoe Tanner, John McEnroe, Mike and Bob Bryan, and 100's of All Americans, World #1's, Grand Slam champions, and top tour players. “I have known Lee for many years, and have the utmost respect for his tennis knowledge in teaching and coaching. What has always impressed me is his skill of interacting, communicating, and being warmly accepted by players of all levels and abilities. Whenever he visited Stanford and spoke to my teams, every player had his full attention, for there wasn’t anyone who didn’t like him, or value his tennis knowledge. We have spent many quality times together both socially and professionally, and I give the highest recommendation for Lee and his programs whether you are a beginner, recreational player, or trying for the top competitive levels of tennis. His latest project tennisadvisorystaffllc.com is exciting because it will help competitive players, parents, and teaching pros in a unique and creative way.  I can't wait to watch it unfold." - Dick Gould

Site Creator and Admin

Tennis Advisory Staff LLC is the next generation of tennislegendslegacy.com whose mission was to provide a free open source platform of tennis information with interviews showcasing leading industry coaches and experts. With this new platform we will be able to provide better interactive content and personal instruction to the viewer that will also be free with no need of a credit card or personal information. Each advisory staff member has proven themselves in their area of tennis expertise as player, coach, etc. My niche is integrative new skills acquisition with creative products. For over 40 years I have been in this field and it has served my students well. I have multiple U.S. utility patents granted in my name for tennis inventions and have had licensing agreements with Prince Manufacturing and Wilson Sporting Goods with my tennis teaching aids. My goal has been to provide an extensive line of creative teaching aids that will place technically correct strokes into habits for the student that will hold up under pressure at all levels. There are over 100 teaching aids in my collection and they will be showcased on this site. Like I stated in my 1980’s monthly World Tennis column “Do It Yourself” I will show the viewer how to make these inventions at home easily and inexpensively. There are two people that I need to thank for their help with this project. The first is my brother David DeYoung PhD, theoretical astrophysicist, who was my constant resource as to the technical validity and working physics of my inventions. Google him. The second is Tim Weber, a brilliant aerospace engineer whose career spanned decades with Northrop-Grumman, Boeing, and Hughes Space and Comm. He not only helped design the inventions to mechanically work well but he simplified them so anyone could make them easily at home.
